creating custom prefix IE6 as self contained fails with wine returned status 87

Using Wine 1.2 + Bottler 1.1.44 + Mac OS X 10.6.4, I want to create a self contained IE6 installation (as done before with Trix+Darwine).

Therefore I start WineBottler - Create Custom Prefixes, select Wintricks ie6+corefonts+fontsmooth-rgb, check the box 'Self-containted', and press the button "Install".

This results in a failure.
